Exercise of the day - Kneeling single arm reverse cable flyes. Really great exercise to help maintain continuous tension on the posterior deltoid throughout the movement . This can be done standing but kneeling really helps keep the hips squared and gets the core really involved. Most people tend to forget that the best part of any rep is the negative. Slow it down and control it! Ideally you would have no turning or twisting of your shoulders to help carry you through the movement. This was towards the end of my workout so that part isn’t perfect but you get the idea.💪

Lemon Herb Salmon Recipe: 

2 sockeye salmon filets
Juice of a small lemon + 2 slices
1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 Tbsp dried sage
1 Tbsp fresh thyme
1 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 Tbsp coconut oil
Sea salt and cracked pepper to taste
1 Tbsp water

Heat coconut oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin side down in skillet. Brush top of salmon with coconut oil, squeeze lemon juice over top, sprinkle with herbs, salt, pepper and place a lemon slice over each filet. Cook the salmon for 2 to 3 minutes, carefully lifting the salmon with spatula to loosen it from the pan.

Reduce heat to medium, add 1 tablespoon of water and cover. Cook 3-4 more minutes until finished.

Serve warm or cold and enjoy!  🐟🍋
