Have you ever done an elimination diet? Did you know that by eliminating foods for a short period of time and adding them back in slowly one by one can help you get rid of bloating, headaches, brain fog, inflammation, lack of energy, stubborn excess fat and food allergies and intolerances? And those are just a handful of symptoms!
Food allergies and intolerances are actually a BIG red flags to tell if you have a leaky gut! When you react to certain foods, this causes inflammation in your body, which can come in the form of bloat, digestion issues, brain fog, etc. This Inflammation is caused by undigested good particles and toxins going through your blood stream can lead to things such as fatty liver and insulin resistance - insulin, if you don’t already know, is your fat storage hormone. So the high inflammation in your body that’s caused by eating all of these foods that don’t work for you may cause you to gain weight and prevent you from losing fat. Which is the complete opposite of what we want to happen, right?!
The easiest way to figure out what foods work specifically for your body and which are making you sick, is by doing an elimination diet! It’s very cost effective and way more accurate than any blood work that you can get done at the doctors office. Those tests can really steer you wrong, but your body will give you direct feedback on what works for YOU!
